We are a traditional Adirondack family camp on the shores of Fourth Lake in Old Forge, New York. We have seasonal cabins that can accommodate various sizes of groups and families. Operating since 1896, the camp has been known as Camp Monroe, Brynilsens, and Viking Village. Over the years, there have been countless activities, traditions, and quirky camp lore.
We would love to host you and your family this upcoming summer! Give us a call or shoot us an email and we would be happy to answer any questions! Please keep in mind that our historic nature has meant that generations of the same families have been staying for the same week in the same cabin each year, and openings are often limited. Our Team
We are a team of two couples who have spent many years working in the Adirondack camping and tourism industries. We came together to take on this one-of-a-kind camp and to ensure the Viking Village legacy continues far into the future.
